“We recently commissioned Maddison Olivia Wright “Maddie” to create a very special piece of art for us. The painting was intended as a gift for a member of our team in honor and memory of her son, so this was never going to be just another piece of artwork. It needed to carry meaning, emotion, and a very personal story.

We gave Maddie some foundational parameters around the theme, colors, and emotions we hoped the piece would convey, but we also wanted her to have the artistic freedom to interpret those ideas through her own creative lens.

What she created was amazing.

Maddie listened carefully to what we were trying to communicate and somehow translated those thoughts and emotions into the piece while still maintaining her own distinctive artistic style. I think that balance is what made the finished work so special. It wasn't simply an artist following instructions; it was an artist understanding the intention behind them and then using her talent to create something we could not have envisioned ourselves.

When you commission something this personal, you are placing a great deal of trust in the artist. Maddie honored that trust beautifully. The final piece captured the theme, colors, and emotion we had hoped for, but her artistic interpretation gave it a depth and uniqueness that made it even more meaningful.

We could not have been happier with the result, and more importantly, we were incredibly proud to present it to our team member.

Maddie is a wonderfully talented artist, and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for an artist who can do more than create something beautiful, she can listen to the story behind a commission and help bring that story to life.”
